The Bridge is a strategic guidance platform for small business owners. It provides educational tools, AI-assisted strategic analysis, business simulation, and federal grant opportunity matching based on information you provide about your business.

By creating an account or using any part of The Bridge — including Earl or the Navigation Chart — you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

The Bridge is owned and operated as an independent business platform. It is not a licensed financial advisor, business consultant, attorney, accountant, or government agency. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional advice of any kind.

THE COMMANDER — AI ADVISORY TOOL

Earl is an artificial intelligence chat interface that provides strategic guidance and business analysis based on your stated business profile and a framework synthesized from published business strategy literature.

By using Earl you acknowledge and agree to all of the following without exception:

Earl is an educational and informational tool only. It is not a licensed business advisor, financial advisor, attorney, accountant, therapist, or consultant of any kind. No communication with Earl creates any professional relationship, fiduciary duty, or advisory obligation between you and The Bridge or its owners.

Earl generates responses using artificial intelligence. AI systems are not infallible. Earl may produce responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inapplicable to your situation, or simply wrong. You are solely responsible for evaluating any guidance before acting on it.

Any business decision you make — including but not limited to: hiring or firing employees, changing your pricing, entering or exiting contracts, pursuing or abandoning a market, taking on debt, making capital expenditures, pivoting your business model, or any other strategic or operational decision — is made entirely at your own discretion and risk. The Bridge is not a party to any such decision and accepts no responsibility for the outcomes of decisions made in whole or in part based on Earl guidance.

The Bridge shall not be liable for any loss, harm, damage, cost, or expense of any kind — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive — arising from your use of or reliance on any content generated by Earl. This includes losses arising from business decisions made in response to Earl guidance, regardless of whether such guidance was accurate, inaccurate, complete, or incomplete.

Earl does not have access to real-time market data, your financial accounts, legal records, tax information, or any external data source beyond what you explicitly provide during your session and intake. It cannot predict market conditions, competitor behavior, economic changes, or any external factors that may affect your business.

If you are facing a situation that requires legal, financial, medical, or other licensed professional advice, you should consult a qualified professional. Earl is not a substitute for such consultation.

THE NAVIGATION CHART — AI-GENERATED STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT

The Navigation Chart is a personalized strategic assessment generated by artificial intelligence based on your intake answers. It is an educational document intended to help you think more clearly about your business strategy.

The Navigation Chart is not a business plan, a financial projection, a legal document, or a professional consulting deliverable. It is AI-generated content subject to the limitations described in Earl section. The Bridge does not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose.

The Bridge shall not be liable for any outcome resulting from actions taken in response to Navigation Chart content.

YOUR INFORMATION AND ACCOUNT

You are responsible for providing accurate information during intake and throughout your use of the platform. The quality of all personalized outputs — Earl guidance and Navigation Chart content matches — depends entirely on the accuracy of the information you provide. The Bridge is not responsible for incorrect or unhelpful outputs caused by inaccurate or incomplete input.

Your business information is stored securely and used only to power the tools within The Bridge. It is not sold to third parties.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. The Bridge is not responsible for unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain credential security.

MEMBERSHIP AND BILLING

Membership fees are charged monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase. Memberships may be cancelled at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid.

The Bridge reserves the right to modify membership pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing members.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content, design, copy, framework, and tools of The Bridge are the intellectual property of The Bridge and its owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.

The Big Book of Strategy framework referenced throughout the platform is a proprietary synthesis created by The Bridge. It draws on principles from published business literature for educational purposes and does not reproduce copyrighted text from those works.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Bridge and its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this platform, regardless of the cause of action, theory of liability, or whether The Bridge has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

The Bridge's total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims arising from your use of this platform shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to The Bridge in the three calendar months immediately preceding the claim.

This limitation applies to all claims arising from: AI-generated content, grant matching results, Navigation Chart content, Earl guidance, platform availability, data accuracy, or any other aspect of the platform.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Bridge and its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or any business decision you make based on platform content.

NO WARRANTIES

The Bridge is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. The Bridge makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform's fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the state in which The Bridge is registered and operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

The Bridge may update these Terms of Service at any time. When material changes are made, members will be notified by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
